What does it measure?

Soil testing measures the pH, minerals and nutrients in your soil. The pH of soil can be acidic, neutral, or alkaline. A pH of 0 to 6.9 is acidic and 7.1 to 14 indicates an alkaline soil. Most lawns will require a slightly acidic soil, around a pH of 6.2 to 6.8

Why is pH Important?

Making sure your soil is in a desirable range is important for your lawn and plants. Your vegetation needs minerals and nutrients, and they cannot be absorbed adequately unless the soil pH is in that desirable range.

If you put down fertilizer and your soil pH is off, it could be a waste of fertilizer, money and your time.

To get the best out of your lawn, check your soil's pH by following the steps below!
